Terms of Use
Effective September 11, 2026. These terms are a working draft prepared for Worldwide Wilderness and should be reviewed by your attorney before the site goes live.
1. Who we are and what this is
Worldwide Wilderness ("3-W", "we", "us") is operated by the Dynamic Frontier Solutions Network. The platform at 3-w.org and worldwidewilderness.org (the "Platform") is a deployment board for allied healthcare and EMS in austere environments: a job board, a credential-verification registry for medical providers, a rapid-deployment (crew call) dispatch system, and verified profiles for medical contractors. By creating an account, posting, or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your password and for everything done under your account. Provider ("job seeker") accounts, contractor accounts, and Unlimited-plan posting links are personal to the person or company they were issued to and may not be shared. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, submits falsified documentation, or endangers other users.
3. Credential verification is a review, not a guarantee
When the Platform marks a provider's credential or a contractor's checkpoint "Verified", it means a Worldwide Wilderness administrator reviewed the documentation you uploaded against the issuing body's public records (for example the NREMT registry, a State Medical Board, or SAM.gov) on the date shown. It is not an independent certification by NREMT, the IBSC, any state EMS office, any medical board, SAM.gov, or any insurer, and it is not legal, medical, or employment advice. Verification can lapse: the Platform automatically hides a provider's profile and turns their registry badge gray the day any verified credential passes its expiration date. Employers, contractors, and agencies remain responsible for their own credentialing, licensure, and scope-of-practice compliance and for re-verifying against primary sources where their policies or the law require it.
4. Providers (job seekers)
You represent that every document you upload is genuine, current, and yours. Uploading someone else's credentials, altered documents, or documents you are not licensed to hold is grounds for immediate removal and may be reported to the issuing body. Your uploaded documents are private to you and Platform administrators, except that accepting a crew call authorizes us to package your verified credentials for that specific contractor's compliance manifest. Your optional public registry profile shows your name, highest credential, status, and each verified credential's type, issuer, expiry, and verification date — never your license numbers or documents. You control it with the "Public registry profile" switch on your Account page.
5. Deployment texts (SMS)
Crew-call and Priority Mobilization texts are sent only to providers who have entered a mobile number, ticked the consent box on their Account page, and switched "Available for Deployment" on. Message frequency varies with incident activity; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at the carrier level, or clear the consent box on your Account page. Accepting a crew call by tapping the link in a text is a commitment to the contractor who sent it; it is not an employment contract with Worldwide Wilderness, and the terms of the deployment (pay, duration, staging, travel) are between you and the contractor.
6. Contractors, employers, and agencies
A contractor account may draft crew calls immediately but may not broadcast, view provider documents, or publish a Verified Contractor Profile until all four vetting checkpoints (medical direction, federal and state operating authority, corporate identity and insurance, extraction SOP) have been verified. You represent that everything in your documentation packet is accurate and that you will keep it current. You agree to use provider data — names, contact details, and credential documents released to you when a provider accepts your call — only to staff the deployment for which it was released, to keep it secure, and not to resell, publish, or retain it beyond that need. You are solely responsible for your own clinical protocols, medical direction, licensure, insurance, safety, evacuation, and compliance with employment and labor law. A crew call or job listing you post must be genuine, funded, and lawful; the Platform may remove any listing or broadcast and suspend any account at its discretion.
7. Payments, listings, and upgrades
Prices for single listings ($149), Unlimited-plan subscriptions ($999/year), listing upgrades (Front Page Highlight $150, Priority Search Placement $300, Priority Mobilization Package $500), and any future dispatch fees are shown at checkout and charged through Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Every listing is reviewed by an administrator before it is published. If we reject a listing, everything charged for it — the listing fee and any upgrades — is refunded in full. Paid time (a pin window, a mobilization text) starts when the listing is approved, not when it is paid, and is not refundable once started. Unlimited-plan subscriptions renew yearly until cancelled through the billing portal link in your confirmation email; cancelling ends posting access and unpublishes listings live under the plan at the end of the paid period. Advertising placements are invoiced separately by agreement.
8. Content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you upload and grant us a licence to store, display, and transmit it as needed to run the Platform (for example, to render a listing, build a compliance manifest, or draw your registry badge). You may not post anything unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing; scrape, spam, or probe the Platform; misrepresent your identity, employer, or credentials; or use the Platform to recruit for any activity that is illegal or that would require a provider to practice outside their licensed scope.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any listing, crew call, contractor, or provider is accurate, safe, funded, or suitable, that a deployment will occur or be paid, or that the Platform will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worldwide Wilderness and the Dynamic Frontier Solutions Network are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for injury, loss, or liability arising from a deployment, a hiring decision, or reliance on a verification status, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Changes, termination, and governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that date is acceptance. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; we may retain records we are required to keep (for example payment records and verification decisions). These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which the Dynamic Frontier Solutions Network is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: dfsn@3-w.org.
